Patriotic Fruit Pizza Crust



1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 Tbs milk
1 1/2 cup rolled oats

Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese
¼ cup sugar

Sift dry ingredients together, add the shortening, egg, vanilla and milk. Mix it well and then stir in the oats. Spread into the pan and bake for 10 min. at 375.

While that is baking, whip the cream cheese and sugar together to make the frosting.
Let the crust cool completely to the spread the frosting. Top with sliced fresh strawberries and blueberries for a fun patriotic look. You can also make it year round by topping it with your favorite fruit. Thank you Mrs. MacArthur for this wonderful recipe! I know it is a favorite of many people!
